Blaze and Badge Summer Camp 2025

The Huntingburg Fire Department and Huntingburg Police Department are excited to present the Blaze and Badge Summer Camp, a one-of-a-kind experience for incoming 5th and 6th graders! This fun and educational camp is designed to give participants a closer look at the daily lives of our local firefighters and police officers while teaching essential safety skills and fostering teamwork.  

What’s in Store?

  • Interactive Activities: Engage in hands-on demonstrations with fire and police equipment, including operating fire hoses, exploring emergency vehicles, and learning about police tools.  
  • Safety Skills: Learn fire safety, first aid, and tips on staying safe in emergencies from the experts.  
  • Team Challenges: Participate in fun team-building activities and friendly competitions with fellow campers.  
  • Behind-the-Badge Experiences: Get a glimpse into what it’s like to serve as a firefighter and police officer in your community.  

Who Can Join?

This camp is open to all incoming 5th and 6th graders in the community who are curious about public safety and eager for a summer adventure!
